Sorry for the downtime of the site. Jen and I had some problems renewing the domain. But the domain is back for now, atleast the next year. hehe…. I have been getting a lot of emails during the downtime periode regarding that the site didn’t work. Thx everyone for the mails, it means a lot to me.

Beyoncé’s one of the biggest stars on the planet, Kelly Rowland has released a couple of fantastic singles recently and now Michelle Williams, the third point on the Destiny’s Child triangle, is gunning for the charts. Almost a bit greedy, isn’t it?
Michelle’s previous albums were sober, gospelly affairs, but she’s described her new one, Unexpected, as a “dance-Euro-club-pop type of album”. We’re not entirely sure what that phrase means, but each of its constituent elements – dancing, Europe, clubs and pop music – are reasonably appealing, so we’re happy to give Michelle the benefit of the doubt.
The lead single, ‘We Break The Dawn’, is about hitting the town and shaking your rump “til’ the morning light”. As Destiny’s Child solo singles go, it isn’t quite ‘Work’, but it’s much, much better than ‘Baby Boy’ and ‘Check On It’. There’s no UK release date yet, but our friend at Michelle’s label reckons it’s likely to be out some time in August
Solange celebrated her 22nd birthday at a huge bash thrown by her big sister Beyonce Monday night at a mansion in Hollywood Hills. Samantha Ronson worked the turntables – with best friend and rumored lover Lindsay Lohan by her side for most of the evening – and spun such tunes as Prince’s “Kiss” and Bob Marley’s “Could You Be Loved.” Solange got on the mic and summoned guests to the dance floor, among them Ludacris, Ne-Yo, Mario and Michelle Williams, reports People.com. At the birthday girl’s request, Ronson began playing a string of songs from Beyonce and husband Jay-Z, including “Big Pimpin’” and “Dirt Off Your Shoulder.” When Beyoncé’s “Get Me Bodied” played, guests circled around the Knowles sisters as they did the various dance moves from the song’s video, People notes. Most guests arrived after 11 p.m. and snacked on barbecue chicken, cornbread, greens and mac and cheese (served buffet-style). Rock band Chester French took the stage playing an instrumental version of “What About Dre,” and finished their set with a rocked out version of “Happy Birthday.” Cupcakes with large white candles were passed through the crowd as everyone sang to Solange, who blew out the candles and banged on her tambourine.

AGAIN I will say that the statement did not come from BET!!! I was very angry while doing my blog and probably should have kept it to myself but so many of you guys were asking why I hadn’t been to the network yet!! At the same time in the blog I did say that I hosted two days of BET NOW and that my video would be played on that show!! Would I love to have gone on 106 and Park…..ABSOLUTELY!!! I hate when an artist has to police what comes out of their mouths bcuz they are later crucified for speaking their minds or for repeating something that has been said to them over and over again!!! All I wanna do is sing and show the world that I have a great album and want everybody to enjoy it!!! Advice to any upcoming artists…..YOU GOTTA LOVE IT AND KNOW THE BUSINESS FOR YOURSELf!!! UNDERSTAND THE GAME AND PLAY IT WELL!!!!!! It took me a lonnnnnnnng time to get it!!! I’m still learning but now nobody can just sell me something that I know aint right!!!!!

Okay guys!!! God has been really good to me!!! I just thought about all the things that I’ve been blessed with thus far!! I’m healthy and blessed to share my music to the world!! My family and friends LOVE me!!! So what am I so upset about!!!!?? What am I so aggravated about????? I can’t believe that I got so upset about all of this!! As i shared before in a video blog….”when u complain about what you don’t have, then you won’t have!!!!!” Let’s all be thankful and grateful for what we have now!!! BUT never be content and settle!!!!! I just wanted to share that with you guys!! Thank y’all for letting me vent and be a spoiled brat for five minutes!! LOL!!!!!! I feel a lot better!!!!
Michelle will be at the Appel Store on June 28 to promote her new album. The Appel store is located at 679 North Michigan Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60611. The show is free and she will be preforming and signing autographs.
Michelle has been nominated for a NAACP Theater Award in the category of Lead Female for her role as Suge Avery in The Color Purple!
The 18th NAACP Theater Awards will be handed out at the Kodak Theater
in Los Angeles on June 30th. You deserve it, Michelle!!

As a special birthday gift I have been working non-stop on this all new version of Michelle web for the past mouth! Not only is there a new layout, but if you begin to look around, you’ll see that I’m using a totally new content management system that is so much better AND faster than anything I have done in the past! I really wanted something NEW and FRESH and since all fansites tend to look alike since we use the same scripts and what-not, I decided to branch out and use WordPress!
