On September 19, 2009 Michelle attended both the Ashish Fashion show and PPQ Fashion show at Somerset House in London. Williams said this on British national TV about the UK gospel music band New Direction Crew, who had been nominated for a MOBO award in the Best Gospel category: “I love New Direction ’cause I live in Chicago and they’re from Chicago. For years, I used to want to be in the choir New Direction; a choir full of young people with some of the baddest musicians.”
